Chemistry of the Main Group Elements

Schedule and Location

The lecture takes place exclusively during the summer term on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Accompanying exercises in small groups are offered on Tuesdays from 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Course Overview

The lecture is part of the stuy program B.Sc. Sustainable Chemistry and covers the fundamentals of general and inorganic chemistry. Building upon this foundation, trends in the periodic table are discussed, and the basic principles of the chemistry of the main group elements are taught.

Exam

The final exam is following the Chemistry of Transition Elements (AC2) lecture at the end of the winter term.
